Kaliopy’s Artists Month: Tindi Ronnie Chris
Introducing A Fine African Artist
Tindi Ronnie Chris
Tindi Ronnie (Tindimwebwa Ronald Chris) has been practicing art for over ten years. He has a Diploma in Draftmanship, though he is currently solely making a livelihood from art.
Tindi feels no boundaries when it comes to techniques; he looks at the broader perspective when he focuses on a particular artwork. “I do what I feel like and when I feel like, I am always in the mood for art”.
He likes to explore with colours and shapes. Common features in his works are fish which to him are a symbol of transperancy.
Tindi has participated in several solo- and group exhibitions within and outside Uganda.
Tindi Ronnie sure knows how to capture an audience with his bold and colourful, yet quirky and symbolic pieces!
